When will the parents enter the Love Island villa?

The famous “meet the parents” episode airs on Love Island every year.

It gives the Islanders a boost as some won’t have seen their family for eight weeks.

It also gives their parents the chance to size up their offspring’s partner.

As of yet, ITV2 haven’t announced when this episode will air, but it is likely to be the penultimate episode.

Will Liam have to explain himself to Millie’s mum and dad?

Which family members are heading into the villa?

The Celeb Report Exclusively revealed how a surprise move, double-jabbed mums and dads will get the chance to visit their kids in the flesh instead of over Zoom, which had been expected.

In past years the show has always flown relatives out to the villa.

But they did make a special exception for Dani Dyer’s actor dad Danny in 2019 when he appeared by videolink.

It is still yet to be determined which of the parents will head into the famous villa to see their kids.

What have the parents of Love Island 2019 stars said about their offspring?

The Meet the Parents episode is sure to bring plenty of drama if the likes of Liam and Faye are forced to explain away their controversial moments.

A source told The Celeb Report: “It’s always the most tense day of the series and Millie and Teddy‘s parents will have seen a lot on TV that their kids don’t know about. In fact, all of the friends and family will have outsider gossip to tell the cast, so a lot of them should be very nervous – Jake included.

“The plan is to fly out the families to Spain if they’re double jabbed and happy to travel within the rules. Then there will be a socially-distanced meeting – and there will be fireworks.”

When is the Love Island final?

Love Island airs for eight weeks.

In 2018, the format was extended from seven after it became so popular.

You can catch the final on August 23, 2021 at 9pm on ITV2.
