Love Island and Towie stars FURIOUS after Pete Wicks and Sam Thompson mock them on new show sparking feud

PETE Wicks predicted it’d be pulled off air within four weeks – but his hit E4 show with BFF Sam Thompson was such a success it landed a second series.

And as Pete & Sam’s Reality News soars in popularity, co-host Sam admits getting a telling off from the celebrities they’ve poked fun at on air.

Sam Thompson presents Reality News with his best pal Pete Wicks from Towie

In an exclusive chat with The Celeb Report as he launched Elves Behavin’ Badly‘s Pranksmas Christmas campaign, Sam revealed Love Island star Chris Hughes was the first to complain when he was slammed in series one.

“We’d mugged him off,” admitted Sam.

“And after the show aired, Chris messaged Pete saying ‘what the hell? I really thought we were friends.’

“It was so full on. We just said, ‘look man, if you watch the show we take the p*** out of each other more than anyone else.’

“We’ve had a few people complain. Someone from Towie, Lauren Pope, calling us cheeky b*****ds.”

Airing straight after Made In Chelsea – which Sam joined in 2013 – Pete & Sam’s Reality News brings viewers the latest juicy gossip and breaking stories making the headlines in the reality world.

“It’s quite funny to get to the point where you get feedback from the people you talk about,” adds Sam.

“You’ve just got to hope they don’t hate you.

“It’s extra press for them!”

And revealing they’ve since kissed and made up with Chris, Sam added: “I barely knew Chris then but he’s actually a legend.

“He’s a fan of the show now, we’ve turned him.”

Alongside his reality show, Sam is known for his hysterical pranks on his Love Island girlfriend Zara McDermott.

And now the 29-year-old – who is set to become a first-time uncle this Christmas – has been named Elves Behavin’ Badly’s chief prankster as he inspires the nation to get pranking.

Whether it’s tips on executing classic pranks such as adding festive wrap to everything in the bathroom – right down to the toothbrush – or ideas for pranking festive bakes with the addition of hot chili, Pranksmas is back with a bang!

Sam said: “Being assigned Chief Prankster for Elves Behavin’ Badly is right up my street – it’s basically my calling as everyone who knows me, knows I live for winding up anyone around me.

“Coming up with Pranksmas ideas with the Elves and being encouraged to cause chaos and taunt Zara for basically the whole month of December – amazing – she won’t know what’s hit her!”

Paul Beverley, director of the worldwide distributors for the Elves Behavin’ Badly dolls thinks this year’s campaign will bring a whole new level of mischief saying, “This year, Elves Behavin’ Badly are upping the ante, taking pranking to a whole new level with the help of our naughty elves.

“Following restrictions around the festivities last year and limited household mixing, this year with the help of Sam and other familiar faces we are going all-out, and want to inspire everyone to get involved this Christmas.”
