LOVE Island singleton Andrew Le Page has been mistaken for a thief in a hilarious blunder.
The estate agent was revealed this week to be entering the villa – and in a tweet that has now gone viral, a woman questioned if he stole her daughter’s handbag.
Underneath his image on the official Love Island Twitter account, the woman – called Carol – wrote: “He looks like the man who stole my daughters handbag in Sainsbury’s.”
She then added: “Can you confirm please if he was in Bristol Sainsbury’s on March 12.”
There is no suggestion Andrew was actually involved in the incident.
Andrew, who is from Guernsey, is looking for love when the show kicks off in just under a week’s time.

Speaking about what he offers a partner, Andrew said: “When I’m with someone I’m very loyal.
“I’m a good boyfriend as when I’m with someone I’m all for them.”
And speaking about his past relationship, he said: “With my ex, we went out for dinner for her birthday.
“I pretended that I got her absolutely nothing and she was kind of fuming. Then I whipped out that, ‘We’re actually going to Paris tomorrow’. She was very happy with that!”
Meanwhile, it was revealed that Andrew underwent secret surgery prior to going on the show.
He has yet to reveal his reasons for going under the knife, but took to his Instagram account and shared a throwback snap of himself topless while on a hike in Dubai.
Andrew penned in the caption: “Easy to see, hard to catch.
He added: “On the road to recovery and can’t wait to be back out there exploring again.
“The surgery isn’t anything major or serious it’s something I’ve wanted for a long time and in due course I will explain what I’ve had but just wanted to say thanks for the love from everyone who messaged me, I appreciate it a lot #biglove xx”.
