Love Island episode 17 review: Bombshell Danny has the power in the recoupling as AJ reveals Hugo doubts

LOVE Island became the Danny show tonight.

The plumber from Leigh added some edginess to the villa with his tattoos and shaved head capturing the girls’ attention.

Danny made a big impact in the villa

A shock recoupling was announced

He wined and dined Kaz and Sharon, albeit not at the same time, and it wasn’t long before they were putty in his hands.

With Kaz it was all about the ‘vibes’, with flirty Danny told her she’d have to work for compliments.

While Sharon just wanted a chat to stimulate her big civil servant brain after weeks of basic chitter chatter.

Both were desperate for a man to come in and sweep them off their feet after two weeks of friendship couples and minimal flirtation.

Danny repeatedly mentioned he was a man of ambition, and is keen to find a girl to join him on his rise to the top.

The 25-year-old, who lives with his cat, has big dreams for his fledgling fashion brand and wants to own a Lamborghini.

Much of the episode was the girls fawning over him as he wandered around the villa in his pants.

But when Dannyvision took a break, new girl AJ took up the mantle and put in some hard flirtatious graft.

Having been refused a kiss by Hugo up on the terrace last night, AJ questioned whether he was the man for her.

He made himself scarce during the day and as a result she told Liam she wouldn’t mind trying his lips out, before waxing lyrical about their sexual chemistry.

The Welsh hunk didn’t contribute too much to the chat, seemingly unwilling to compromise his romance with Millie.

On Sunday, Danny will get the first pick at the recoupling followed by AJ – will she ruffle feathers and go for Liam or will Hugo get another chance?
