FORMER Love Island love birds Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruikshank may be at war as fans think they’ve spotted clues things have turned nasty.
Last week, Kaz and Tyler confirmed they split after four months of dating after meeting on the ITV2 reality show this summer.
They described the break up as “very sad” after struggling to make it work.
But some fans turned amateur detectives believe there’s more to the story and that the break-up might not be as amicable as the pair would like us to believe.
They turned to social media for clues and came to the conclusion the pair might be at war after noticing strategic ‘untagging’ and ‘unpinning’ of important social media posts.
Most critically, Kaz untagged herself from their breakup post and then Tyler deleted it from his Instagram altogether.
Fans shared their theories on Reddit.
“I’m not trying to be messy but I’m not believing that this breakup was mutual,” theorised one person.
Another added: “So I was just on kaz’s page and realised that’s she untagged herself from the breakup post and unpinned the TikTok with him in. Update: Tyler’s now deleted the breakup post.”
And a third observed: “He untagged herself first then an hour later he deleted lol.”
Tyler and Kaz were finalists in this year’s series, finishing in fourth place and becoming boyfriend and girlfriend soon after returning to the UK.
They are the first of the finalists to call it quits – Chloe and Toby, Millie and Liam and Faye and Teddy, are all still together.
In a joint statement released last week, they said: “We are extremely sad to announce that we have decided to end our romantic relationship.
“We have had a fantastic journey and we will always have a special bond between us.
“We will continue to be very much in one another’s lives and support each other in every way.
“We are so grateful that we have shared this Love Island experience with each other, and we will continue to support each other’s careers.”
They added: “Life since the villa has been amazing, but it’s taking time to adjust to a normal in the public eye. This part of the journey hasn’t been easy for us but we’re learning.
“Thank you to very single person who has supported us, we appreciate you more than you will ever know.”
Kaz and Tyler were fan favourites on Love Island, with viewers left raging when they were snubbed during the show’s controversial reunion episode.
They were the only finalists not invited onto the sofa to chat with host Laura Whitmore – who defended the move by insisting that Kaz was invited onto the stage as one of Toby’s exes.
The excuse didn’t cut it with fans, who argued that she deserved a place in the limelight on her own merit, with all other couples in last month’s final interviewed on stage together.
