LOVE Island fans have been left shaking their heads in disagreement after Adam Collard discussed life outside the villa last night.
The reality TV star – who made his reappearance on the ITV2 dating show earlier this month – sat down with his partner Paige Thorne to plan how they could make things work back at home.
Fans think that Adam won’t go and visit Paige in Wales
They weren’t convinced by Adam’s promises to visit from Newcastle
Love Island fans were left stunned when Adam, 26, suggested that he could come to visit Paige, 24, in her home town of Swansea, Wales.
Viewers could not believe that he made the suggestion, knowing that he still lives and has a fitness business in Newcastle, 350 miles away.
Sitting down for a drink, Paige prompted Adam to think about the future, saying: “It’s just like, we live on opposite ends of the UK. So that will be difficult in itself.”
But Adam reassured her: “I’ve done further than Swansea, with the wrong person but not with the right person. You don’t need to stress, we’re going to make an effort.”
Paige agreed: “I do think we will be able to make it work, I do think that we are those kinds of people, like quality time and stuff.”
Adam concluded, before leaning in for a kiss with his partner: “I want to see Swansea, it’s alright. Let’s go.”
But fans were not convinced by Adam – and took to Twitter to suggest that he would NOT make the effort once they left the villa.
“Poor Paige believing Adam will go to Swansea for her,” one fan wrote, as a second said: “Adam has absolutely no intention of travelling to Swansea to see Paige.”
A third chimed in: “Nothing is certain in life but I know for sure Adam is not moving to Swansea for Paige.”
While a fourth concluded: “Adam is so not into this he’s kissing her to shut her up talking about what are we going to do when we get out. He ain’t moving to Swansea girl. I’m not buying it.”
It comes after fans believe they’ve worked out the REAL reason why Paige Thorne has coupled up with Adam Collard in the villa.
Viewers were left shocked when Paige, 24, immediately coupled up with Adam, 26, after her former partner left the show.
Jacques O’Neill decided to walk away from the ITV2 dating competition after struggling to deal with his mental health.
Less than 24 hours on, Paige and Adam were cosying up after he expressed his interest in getting to know her a little further.
But rather than having a genuine interest, fans are convinced that Paige is just “star struck” by the reality TV star, who rose to fame on the fourth series of the show back in 2018.
Dozens took to Twitter to speculate that the paramedic was caught up in a “fantasy” with Adam – which has left her “spiralling”.
“Paige is star struck by Adam, like her fantasy came true,” one fan wrote. “Now she is spiralling, the bubble is going to pop.”
Another agreed: “Paige is so star struck with Adam, it’s actually funny seeing her on the verge of tears every time Nathalia speaks to him.
“The way she sighed relief when Adam did his little performance and asked her to be exclusive. You can’t be this naive.”
