LOVE Island fans are backing a former Big Brother and The Voice star to take over from Laura Whitmore after she announced she’s leaving.
The model took to her social media yesterday to confirm she was stepping back from presenting the ITV2 dating show, after she took over from Caroline Flack in 2019.

Now, Love Island viewers are backing one presenter to take over from Laura, 37, as the next host of the competition.
Dozens of fans took to social media to speculate that it would be Big Brother and The Voice presenter Emma Willis.
They are already calling for ITV2 bosses to hire the star – with some saying they’d “never watch it again” if it wasn’t Emma, 46.
“Emma Willis or I’m never watching Love Island again,” one wrote to Twitter, as a second said: “I’ve said it loads of times and I’ll say it again, Emma Willis to host the next season of Love Island.”

“Emma Willis would be good – she’s always keeping it real,” a third agreed, as a fourth said: “Emma Willis is the queen of interviews.”
“Emma Willis is in the running for presenter role for Love Island since it’s been confirmed she’s not hosting Big Brother,” a fifth concluded.
It comes after host Laura waved goodbye to her presenting role as she confirmed she would not return to the show.
Now, fans are certain that Laura has quit her post in order to present the new series of Big Brother, due back on screens later this year.
The model took to Instagram on Monday night to share the shock news with fans, after four years of hosting the dating competition.
She wrote, admitting she found filming “difficult” in the post: “Some news! I won’t be hosting the next series of Love Island.
“I wish it was still possible but know you’ll be in safe hands. I was only planning to fill in for Caroline for a series and it turned into 3 series. I hope I did you proud Caroline.”
However, after the announcement, fans flooded Twitter to speculate whether Laura was due to take over presenting Big Brother.
“Nah, Laura Whitmore is going to host Big Brother, mark my words,” one wrote, as a second chimed in: “Left love Island, I bet the bookmakers are making her favourite to host the new Big Brother.”
A third chimed in: “Is Laura Whitmore stepping away from Love Island because she’s the new Big Brother presenter?”
Long-term host Emma previously hinted that she would not be presenting Big Brother for its return on ITV2 later this year.
When quizzed by This Morning hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, Emma admitted it needs “a bit more of a rest.”
