LOVE Island fans have spotted how much Gemma Owen’s footballer dad Michael resembles one of this year’s contestants.
Viewers reckon Gemma’s current love interest Luca Bish looks just like the former England striker in his younger years.
Michael, now 42, started his professional football career in 1996 and made his England debut when he was just 18 years old.
And Love Island fans cannot believe how similar he looked to fishmonger Luca, 23, during this time.
Sharing their thoughts on Twitter, one fan said: “Luca looks like a young Michael Owen #justsaying.”
Agreeing, another said: “You know what I’ve only just realised how much Luca looks like Michael Owen.”

Gemma, who is Michael and his wife Louise’s eldest of their four children, is currently coupled up with Luca in the villa.
However, despite sharing their first kiss on Monday night, the pair will be seen coming to blows in tonight’s episode.
A preview of the instalment showed professional dressage rider Gemma, 19, branding Luca a “p****” after he rolled his eyes at her.
