LOVE Island fans are convinced a Catfish star is being lined up to replace host Laura Whitmore.

Laura, 37, shocked this week when she quit as host of Love Island after just three series.

Now some viewers think they’ve worked out who will be stepping into her shoes.

Taking to Twitter to demand that Catfish UK host, YouTuber and Love Island fan Nella Rose get the job, one wrote: “If I don’t see my girl @nellarose hosting loveisland every year from now on i’m done with the show fr.”

Another said: “If @nellarose isn’t hosting the next season of @LoveIsland I don’t want it.”

And a third added: “Nella rose would be the perfect love island host.”

Nella Rose has more than 740k subscribers on YouTube and was announced as the host of MTV’s Catfish UK back in May.

Given that Laura herself started out at MTV it seems Nella Rose is a real contender for the job.

Taking to Instagram on Monday Laura wrote: “Some news! I won’t be hosting the next series of Love Island.

“There are certain elements of the show I’ve found very difficult that cannot be changed – some due to the format, including the flying back and forth to South Africa along with my new conflicting projects.

“I wish it was still possible but know you’ll be in safe hands.

“I was only planning to fill in for Caroline for a series and it turned into three series.”
