Love Island fans convinced Shannon Singh’s dumping was ‘a warning’ to contestants after she refused to play kissing game

LOVE Island fans are convinced that Shannon Singh’s dumping from the show was “a warning” after she refused the kissing game.

Viewers took to Reddit to theorise that the former glamour model was sent home after just 48 hours in the villa because she didn’t take part.

Fans think Shannon was dumped after she snubbed the kissing game

Shannon, 22, was shown the door last night after she was left as a singleton by late arrival Chloe Burrows choosing to couple up with Aaron Francis.

Aaron and Chloe appeared to be gloating as Shannon was seen marching out with her suitcase just three days into series seven.

It came after she swerved the hunky male Islanders in a kissing challenge, which fans theorised was because she had a boyfriend outside the villa.

The bombshell theory drew on the fact that the Scottish model split from her DJ boyfriend Ben Sterling to go on the hit dating show.

Now fans are suggesting that her dumping could be “a warning” to other islanders that not playing the game will result in elimination.

“Tonight was a warning,” one viewer took to Reddit to discuss, as dozens of others chimed in to agree it was because she “did nothing for two days”.

“She didn’t kiss anyone in the challenge, wasn’t playing the game,” a second wrote. “They don’t want people there who aren’t going to do anything.”

A third added: “This show has become an easy way to become an influencer so I’m fine with surprise dumping for people who are giving us nothing.”

“Definitely a warning to the islanders that ‘you are all replaceable’,” a fourth concurred. “Shannon was the sacrificial lamb because she wasn’t giving them anything to work with.”

“I think the rumours that she isn’t truly broken up with her boyfriend back home are true, and she wasn’t going to fully participate so they found an excuse to kick her,” a fifth said in agreement.

Since making her debut in the Love Island villa on Monday, Shannon appeared uninterested in all of the boys, and even brutally snubbed Toby Aromolaran when he tried to snog her as part of a game.

When he leaned in for a smooch, Shannon turned her head and hugged him instead – sparking laughter from the rest of the group.

Some think Shannon still has a boyfriend outside the villa

Viewers theorised there’s more to the snub than meets the eye, with one writing on Reddit: “A story came out a couple of days ago that Shannon had broken up with her DJ ex of about a year to come on the show.

“Following her behaviour on the first 2 episodes, I have reason to speculate maybe she didn’t break up with him after all. Thoughts?”

However, one fan defended Shannon: “I think she’s not feeling the guys because their personalities are dead.”

She was dumped after Aaron re-coupled with Chloe

At the weekend, The Celeb Report on Sunday revealed that Shannon coldly dumped music producer Ben after making it to the final stages of casting.

They had been dating since last year, and PE teacher Hugo Hammond has also been accused of ditching two women to clear his path to the famous villa.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV, where two new male bombshells will be dropped into the villa to cause chaos.
