Fans flocked to share their thoughts on Mitch choosing Leah Taylor in the recoupling

But fans of the show weren’t impressed with one of the boy’s recoupling speeches.

During the unexpected twist, viewers saw Mitchel Taylor choose Leah Taylor despite Mitch recently announcing his interest in getting to know Jess Harding.

However, although Mitch chose to save the stunning bombshell, fans on Twitter were left fuming over his awkward quip.

When admitting who he wanted to couple up with, Mitch described a growing connection between him and Leah but also cracked an inappropriate joke.

He stated that one reason for picking the 27-year-old is that she has a “good body.”

But Mitch’s cheeky antics weren’t well recieved.

One fan exclaimed: “I actually feel bad for Leah.”

Before pointing out Mitch’s “mess of a speech”.

Another criticised: “Everything Mitch says should come with a cringe warning.”

A third fumed at Sammy Root’s treatment of Leah as well as Mitch’s behaviour, chiming in: “Sammy disrespected Leah massively and then Mitch doubled it down on that ‘good body’ comment.”

“Mitch thinks it’s acceptable for a recoupling speech to be “she’s got a good body” honestly save these women please,” added a fourth.

Mitch is no stranger to drama though, as he has previously left fans questioning his motives.

The gas engineer suddenly confessed to fancying Jess last week, despite cosying up to former flame Molly Marsh.

He told Jess: “I am available… I kind of want to get to know you a bit more.”

Mitch added: “The She’s A Keeper thing [football-themed challenge]… watching you, when you fell on your a**e I went, ‘I fancy this girl.’

“I swear to god. Now you know I fancy you a bit.”

Fans watching at home were left baffled by his decision.

One wrote on Twitter: “Game player Mitch.”

The unexpected twist comes just days after Friday night saw Andre and Charlotte dumped from the villa.

Their exit was due to the public having the power to vote for their favourite couple.
