LOVE Island fans were left baffled last night as Jake appeared to call Millie sexy in front of Liberty.
The water engineer, who previously said Liam’s girlfriend was his type, was discussing seeing her with the baby doll during the challenge, when he made his surprise admission.
Speaking to Liam and Millie, as Liberty sat beside him, he said: “From a lad’s point of view, you see Mils with a baby, I know it’s a doll but you fancy them more don’t you. It’s sexy.”
Looking rather excited, he continued: “It’s like a yummy mummy. I find it sexy when you have a mum who is very protective.”
Those watching at home clocked the moment and took to Twitter to discuss it.
One person wrote: “Jake won’t tell Lib she’s beautiful but he’ll tell her that other girls are his type and ask liam if millie looked sexy w the baby in front of liberty. make it make sense. #LoveIsland.”
A second added: “Who else found it weird when Jake asked Liam if Millie looked sexy? Remember that’s his type btw #loveIsland.”
While a third remarked: “Jake calling millie sexy and a ‘yummy mummy’ in front of Lib? also after saying she’s his type? bye #LoveIsland.”
Jake and Liberty first hit a rocky patch after she saw footage of him egging the boys on to cheat in Casa Amor.
Liberty was then horrified to hear Jake’s savage comment about sex with her.
Things got even more awkward when he tried to say sorry but ended up putting his foot in it.
He told her: “Millie’s my type, Mary’s my type. I know a good looking girl and I can appreciate a good looking girl, but you’re my girlfriend.”
During tonight’s episode viewers will see Liberty break down in tears over Jake before calling it a day.
She tells him: “I just don’t feel like that you love me for me and I want someone who loves me for me.”
Jake replies: “What we saying then, are we saying we’ll go our separate ways then?”
