Fans react to shock dumping
Love Island fans have taken aim at the show's 'cringe' Aftersun opening clip following a shock dumping. Viewers tuned into the spin-off series after Joey and Jessy were sensationally axed from the villa.
Pre-show antics
Before Aftersun went live, a pre-recorded VT showed Sam Thompson, Indiyah Polack, Chris Taylor, Jordan Stephens, and Amy Hart reenacting classic scenes from Love Island. Host Maya Jama then arrived to inform them about the show they had to do.
Fans unimpressed
However, viewers at home were less than impressed with the clip, comparing it to a school project. Many took to social media to express their disappointment, with comments ranging from calling it "GCSE acting" to "BTEC drama performance."
Final episode coming soon
The Love Island final is set to air on Monday from 9 pm on ITV2 and ITVX. Fans are eagerly anticipating the conclusion of this season's drama-filled journey.
