Will managed to get Jessie to forgive him

During their time away from the girls, Will Young, 23, kissed Layla Al-Momani, 28, and Tom Clare, 23, got close to Lydia Karakyriakou, 22.

All hell broke loose when their girls Jessie Wynter, 26, and Samie Elishi, 23, found out about their cheeky shenanigans.

During last night’s episode of Love Island, all was forgiven after the boys went on a mission to get their girls back.

Many viewers are a little confused at their sudden change of heart, including one fan who took to Reddit to share their bizarre theory.

User jlingz wrote: “The poem from Tom tonight was obviously a thought put into Tom’s head by a producer.

“And Samie was saying how they were kissing and cuddling the night of the casa recoupling so clearly she had already mostly forgiven him and was going to re-forgive him after talking to the Casa girls.

“It just felt like contrived drama and dragging out what was already forgiven.”

That’s not the only thing that they thought had been ‘set up’.

They continued: “That Will and Jessie grand gesture was so obviously after she had forgiven him.

“They clearly must of had a conversation and cleared it but producers decided because they are a fan favourite couple they need a grand gesture to prove their love or whatever.”

Many agreed, with one user replying: “I agree that a lot of LI now is produced and not natural. The contestants must know what they need to do so let them get on with it and just film it.”

“I’m really tired of it myself let true conversations happen instead of scripted,” another wrote.

The Celeb Report contacted ITV for comment.

After the Casa Amor re-coupling, Jessie, Samie and Claudia were given the opportunity to meet up with their partner’s other love interests.

Casey O’Gorman, who is with Claudia, also got close to Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo in Casa Amor.

Layla came face-to-face with Jessie and spilled the beans on her and Will’s smooches.

It seems a lot went down in Casa Amor as bombshell Layla has also claimed her and Kai Fagan shared a secret connection.

Appearing on Aftersun, alongside her fellow dumped bombshells, Layla spoke with show host Maya Jama and shone light on the pair’s hush-hush relationship.

Rocking a red, leather-look outfit, Layla explained when asked about who she had her eye on upon entering the villa: “First look, I was quite taken aback by Casey and Kai.

“You go in, you are like: ‘Wow these are really tall, attractive men’, but those two I was like ‘okay, interesting’.

“But obviously I fancied Will from day one, watching the show, he’s very much my type, my sister will tell you the same thing.”

The managing director went on to say: “It was quite interesting as Kai and I actually did – I don’t think we got any air time really, but Kai and I really did kick it off quite a lot at the beginning.

“I was telling all the girls: ‘Guys, I’m in love'”.
