Love Island rejects AJ and Danny go on romantic date and tease relationship outside the villa

LOVE Island rejects AJ Bunker and Danny Bibby have gone on a romantic date and teased a relationship outside of the villa.

The hair extension technician, 28 and the plumber, 25, have hinted that romance could be on the cards for the pair.

The dumped Islanders enjoyed a romantic picnic break

On last night’s Aftersun, viewers watched the pair enjoy a picnic date and admitted that they would be keen to see where things go.

AJ said she was excited to go on a date with Danny because she was attracted to his personality, meanwhile the tattooed hunk wanted to explore more of AJ’s “cheeky” side.

AJ said: “Obviously you’re gorgeous, you have a great personality.”

Danny replied: “It would be nice to catch up on the outside.”

She responded: “Me and you drinks, maybe a little boogie, lets see how fun you really are.”

‘NO COMPLAINTS’

The pair also joined Laura Whitmore to chat about life after the villa and their blossoming romance.

When quizzed about their first date, AJ admitted that she had no complaints and said that they have a good connection.

Danny agreed saying that they have a lot in common and would be up for another date.

The duo then spilled the beans on whether there would be potential romance in the future.

AJ said: “For me if we weren’t isolating we did discuss meeting up and coming to the studio. Obviously Covid.”

Laura asked Danny: “Would you take Andrea on another date?”

The Wigan lad replied: “Yeah nothing is off the cards. We’ve got to see where we are after this madness.”

SHORT STAY

Fans were thrilled after newcomers AJ and Danny were dumped from the show.

The Islanders had to choose which two contestants went home out of the six that received the fewest public votes.

Danny and AJ were up against Toby, Teddy, Lucinda, and Chloe – with one boy and one girl being dumped.

Viewers were shocked that they chose to dump the newbies – who only made their arrival into the villa last week – with AJ facing further salt in the wound when her partner Hugo delivered the news.

Neither Danny or AJ had the opportunity to make their mark, but those watching at home were grateful that their fan favourites had survived another day.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “AJ and Danny were both looking LOST anyways.”

Another added: “Good riddance to Danny, I feel bad for AJ but I’m glad my faves are safe.”

A third agreed: “Totally the right decision.”

AJ had been coupled up with Hugo, but he had made it clear that he isn’t interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with her.

Meanwhile, Danny had paired off with Lucinda after she’d been left single by partner Brad being dumped.

But things turned rocky between the two when she continued to chat with Aaron, who she’d previously been growing close to.
