LOVE Island’s sizzling singletons have made an art out of turning their celeb status into cash with social media promotions when they leave the villa.
And with the new series set to kick off at the end of June, we’ll soon find out who’re going to be the show’s hottest stars on Instagram for 2021 – but which former islanders are already making a killing?
Previous stars of the reality show have built million-pound fortunes by becoming the faces of fashion houses and charging hefty personal appearance fees.
Some series favourites including Maura Higgins, Zara McDermott and Megan Barton-Hanson have raked in a fortune selling sexy lingerie.
But some of the sun-kissed celebs can charge thousands just by sharing sponsored posts with their legions of Instagram followers.
Online betting firm TopRatedCasinos.ie has crunched the numbers to work out just how much islanders can make from a single post.
Here’s the breakdown of Love Island’s Instagram rich list.
Molly-Mae Hague – £13,000
Molly-Mae might have been a runner-up in the 2019 series of Love Island, but she’s now leading the show’s Insta rich list by a long way.
It’s thought the 22-year-old model can charge up to £12,943 per sponsored post.
She’s already made mountains of cash signing deals with fashion companies, including from a reported £500,000 deal with PrettyLittleThing for just six months’ work.
Molly-Mae recently told her 5.5million Instagram followers she’d decided to dissolve her fillers as she no longer recognised her own face.
Tommy Fury – £8,000
Trailing Molly-Mae by nearly five grand per post is her boyfriend, Tommy Fury.
The 22-year-old pro boxer has amassed a 3.5million-strong Instagram following of his own, meaning he’s believed to be able to charge £8,123 per post.
Since promoting big brands like Disney+ and McDonalds, he’s now thought to be worth over £1million.
The light heavyweight overcame boos and lewd chants about Molly-Mae to win a fight against Jordan Grant in Telford, Shorps., at the weekend.
Dani Dyer – £8,000
Just behind Tommy is 2018 series winner Dani Dyer.
The 24-year-old actor is believed to be able to charge £8,044 per post – just £79 quid shy of Tommy’s estimate.
Dani has been so successful since Love Island that she made £16,000 more than her hard-man dad last year thanks to brand deals and a clothing line.
And this week she’s set to star alongside her father in EastEnders for the first time by playing a cab driver.
Maura Higgins – £7,500
Maura Higgins has made a killing from the fashion world since leaving the villa in 2019.
The Irish beauty, 30, is now thought to be a millionaire thanks in part to a £500,000 deal with Ann Summers.
And with 3.2million Instagram followers, it’s believed she can charge a whopping £7,529 per post.
Sizzling singleton Maura was recently spotted getting close with fellow islander Chris Hughes after splitting with Chris Taylor last month.
Amber Gill – £6,000
While not able to charge as much as Maura, Love Island 2019 winner Amber Gill is still very much in demand on Instagram.
The gorgeous 23-year-old boasts an army of 2.6million followers, allowing her to charge up to £6,117 for a single post.
Not that she needs the cash, having just launched an ultra-glam collection with Public Desire.
It’s not always been plain sailing on social media for Amber – she was recently kicked off TikTok after sharing a video of her dancing in tiny hotpants.
Olivia Bowen – £6,000
It’s not just the recent stars who can make a fortune from sponsored posts.
Olivia Bowen, who was runner up on the second series of Love Island back in 2016, is thought to be able to charge a hefty £6,082 per snap shared.
The 27-year-old Essex girl recently gave her 2.6million Instagram followers a peak inside her amazing £1million mansion shared with hubby Alex.
In February, the well-heeled couple came under fire when it emerged they’d claimed furlough cash despite being worth a combined £4.4million.
Kem Cetinay – £5,500
Kem Cetinay was the star of the show in Love Island 2017, winning the series with partner Amber Davies.
The 25-year-old now has 2.3million Instagram followers and can charge an estimated £5,480 per post.
While he split from Amber the year they got together, Kem recently fuelled rumours that a reconciliation could be on the cards after four years apart.
A post from a fan on Kem’s Instagram account saying they wanted Amber and Kem back together received thousands of likes – including one from Kem himself.
Chris Hughes – £5,000
Kem’s love affair with Amber was arguably eclipsed by his epic bromance with fellow islander Chris Hughes.
Chris, 28, also gives Kem a run for his money in the Instagram rich list, able to charge an eye-watering £4,919 per post to his 2.1million followers.
Hungry for more, Chris recently hired a Hollywood agent in a bid to crack the American market with his TV and acting career.
“I just love being in front of the camera,” he said of his US plans. “I just want to spread my wings, like I’m never happy with enough, do you know what I mean, I always want more.”
Jack Fincham – £4,700
A few hundred quid behind Chris is Love Island 2018 favourite Jack Fincham.
With 2million followers to his name, the 28-year-old can charge up to £4,663 per post.
He won his series of Love Island with Dani Dyer, remaining together for around nine months in total.
After their split, he had a baby with former fling Casey Ranger and last week confirmed he’s now dating Towie star Frankie Sims.
Alex George – £4,600
NHS hero Dr Alex George probably makes pretty good money as a doctor.
But the 30-year-old islander can also top his earnings up by charging an estimated £4,618 per post to his 1.9million followers.
He recently revealed that he went on an extreme diet and worked out twice a day for five months to get a six-pack before entering the villa in 2018.
“Yes I looked aesthetically quite good in that time,” he said on Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast, “But was I healthy? Absolutely not.”
Olivia Attwood – £4,500
Olivia Attwood came third on Love Island 2017, but she has built an Instagram following up there with some of the biggest stars from the show.
The 29-year-old can fetch around £4,468 for a single post to her 1.9million followers.
Olivia recently posed in pink lingerie to launch her new fashion line collaboration with I Saw It First.
And earlier this year she hit back at trolls who cruelly called her “too skinny” by sharing glamorous snaps on her Instagram account.
Ovie Soko – £4,400
Pro-basketball star Ovie Soko is an absolute baller when it comes to Instagram too.
The 30-year-old hunk, who came third on Love Island 2019, can make £4,407 per post thanks to his whopping 1.8million-strong following.
Ovie split from on-screen partner India Reynolds four months after leaving the villa citing “conflicting schedules”.
Last year, when asked about the worst pain he’d experienced, Ovie said: “Heartbreak.
“The first time you experience it you’re extremely vulnerable and nothing can help but time.”
Siannise Fudge – £4,300
Despite shooting to fame just last year, Siannise Fudge is already up there with the biggest potential earners.
The 26-year-old former beauty consultant has amassed 1.8million followers and can charge £4,264 per Instagram post.
Her rapid success notwithstanding, Siannise told fans earlier this year that she sometimes misses her pre-fame life.
“I was very content and happy in my life before Love Island and I feel like mentally I’m not as happy,” she said in a Q&A.
Paige Turley – £4,200
Siannise was beaten to the Winter Love Island crown by blonde bombshell Paige Turley.
Now 23, Paige has racked up 1.7million followers since leaving the villa, allowing her to make up to £4,209 per post.
Paige recently spilled the beans on some of the villa’s most closely kept secrets including that male contestants get more help with their looks than the girls.
“We always did our own hair and make-up,” Paige said.
“The only night we got hair and make-up artists was the final, and a lot of the girls actually did their own make-up.”
Lucie Donlan – £4,000
Lucie Donlan has continued to make a big splash since leaving the villa in 2019.
The 23-year-old surfer recently bagged big brand deals with the likes of Ann Summers and sportswear label O’Neill.
And when she’s not modelling in glamorous photoshoots, the former islander can charge as much as £4,070 per Instagram post.
“As you all know, I love lingerie!” Lucie told her 1.7million followers in April.
“It makes me feel sexy and empowered.”
