Jess gets upset during this evening’s episode

During last night’s episode host Maya Jama made a shock return to the villa and asked the islanders to pick who they thought wasn’t working as a pair.

Jess and Sammy, as well as Mitch and Leah were voted the least compatible and are now single.

And those four were told that they have to go on a date with bombshells Mal Nicol and hunky semi-pro footballer Montel McKenzie.

Wednesday’s instalment of Love Island will see their dates go ahead… and well as the aftermath of the challenge.

Catherine xx and Whitney xx aren’t happy with what Sammy said about them when he implied that they should have been there instead of him and Jess.

Catherine says to Sammy: “You made a weird comment about physical attraction.”

Sammy replies: “Obviously you and Mehd’s get on well, whatever. You and Scott get on well. But I just feel like me and Jess are far, far more compatible.”

Whitney interrupts and says: “Well obviously not…”

Things start to get very heated between the trio.

Elsewhere Jess breaks down in tears over what happened last night.

Speaking to the girls Jess says: “I’m not going to lie I did actually thank that a lot more people were going to choose other couples over me and Sammy.

“Even though we had that little blip, I feel like yous would know better how much actually we are compatible and how much we have actually going on on the outside, and how much we have in common.”
