Love Island shock for Faye and Liam as cast’s parents will enter villa to say EXACTLY what they think of their partners

LOVE Island’s stars are in for a shock as their parents descend upon the villa to tell some home truths.

In a surprise move, double-jabbed mums and dads will get the chance to visit their kids in the flesh instead of over Zoom, which had been expected.

Faye might soon come face to face with Teddy’s parents

Will Liam have to explain himself to Millie’s mum and dad?

And the Meet the Parents episode is sure to bring plenty of drama if the likes of Liam and Faye are forced to explain away their controversial moments.

A source said: “It’s always the most tense day of the series and Millie and Teddy’s parents will have seen a lot on TV that their kids don’t know about. In fact, all of the friends and family will have outsider gossip to tell the cast, so a lot of them should be very nervous – Jake included.

“The plan is to fly out the families to Spain if they’re double jabbed and happy to travel within the rules. Then there will be a socially-distanced meeting – and there will be fireworks.”

In past years the show has always flown relatives out to the villa, but they did make a special exception for Dani Dyer’s actor dad Danny in 2019 when he appeared by video link.

TRAVEL TIPS

Show host Laura Whitmore recently revealed how she manages to navigate the travel rules to split her time between Majorca and the UK.

She said: “The Balearic Islands were in amber so when I did that I had to isolate for five days, I’m not sure everyone knew that. I had to isolate five days on my return.

“Then [rules] went green, and now it’s amber again, but I’m double vaxxed.

“I also have to be in London every Sunday as part of my Love Island contract.”

Because she’s fully jabbed, Laura doesn’t have to quarantine on either leg of her journey under current rules.
