LOVE Island star Dami Hope’s social media team have been forced to turn off comments for his wellbeing after receiving “hateful” messages.
Dubliner Dami has gone from being a fan favourite to one of the least liked Islanders after his time in Casa Amor.
The microbiologist had been coupled up with Indiyah and seemed smitten with the Londoner saying he was excited to bring her home to Ireland.
However once the new girls walked into the villa Dami got to know Summer and even shared a three-way kiss while Indiyah was away.
In an explosive recoupling last night Dami chose Summer while Indiyah walked in with Deji from Casa Amor, leaving Dami furious.
However since these episodes have aired, Dami’s representatives on Instagram have been keeping their comments switched off on posts.
When asked why they revealed that it was for the wellbeing of Dami’s close family and friends.
They wrote: “We understand that LI are very invested in the show but the hateful DMs/comments we’ve received over the last couple of days are so uncalled for.
“To protect the wellbeing of Dami’s family and close friends, we decided to turn them off.”
Last night fans slammed ‘hypocrites’ Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack after their furious firepit showdown in front of Laura Whitmore.
As Indiyah returned with her new man, Laura pointed out that Dami has recoupled.
When Deji said that everything happened “naturally” between them, Dami started to laugh.
‘I’M HAPPY’
Indiyah said: “At the end of the day I had a great time in Casa, I did have a connection but I felt like I need to follow my head.
“At the end of the day I think everything happens for a reason, you know, it is what it is.”
Dami fumed back: “Until it isn’t!”
When Laura asked if Dami had anything he wanted to say, he replied in a sarcastic tone: “I’m happy for you. I’m happy for myself too.”
Indiyah said: “Seems it…”
He replied: “Yeah.”
Dami asked: “You happy?”
Indiyah clapped back: “Absolutely.”
Many took to Twitter to share their confusion over why Dami was so angry, while others said that neither of them had no right to be angry because they chose other people.
