Taking to Instagram, Tyler – who together with Kaz Kamwi finished Love Island in fourth place – shared his news with his 200,000 followers.

He wrote: “So, as some of you will already know, I’ve wanted to go back and finish my studies for a while now.

“Law is something that I’m extremely passionate about and I have always said one day I would want to go back to complete what I started.

“Well, that time has come – I’m proud to announce that I’m partnering with @barbri_sqe to embark on my SQE training.

“I’m super excited about this new chapter and can’t wait to share my journey with you all!”

SQE stands for Solicitors Qualifying Examination. Tyler has to pass the assessment to become a solicitor.

Liam Reardon, who won Love Island 2021 with his now-ex Millie Court, was quick to comment, writing: “Yes bro go on.”

Others have also congratulated Tyler on his career move, with one follower telling him: “Really great, well done.”

Wishing him luck, another added: “That’s great stuff my learned friend! All the best with your studies.”

Earlier this year, Tyler opened up about his battle with vile keyboard warriors since finding fame on Love Island 2021.

He said he was pushed to breaking point and blames trolls for ruining his relationship with his co-star Kaz.

Tyler and Kaz were the first black couple to have ever reached a Love Island final but, despite the support when they were in the villa, things turned ugly once they were out.

Tyler says the “pressure to be perfect” was ultimately the downfall of their relationship, which ended last December after just four months.

“There was immense pressure on us to be perfect.

“I’ve watched Love Island before and I’ve never seen any couples come under that much scrutiny before.

“I was so taken aback about it. We both felt the pressure and it was starting to take its toll on both of us.”

He added to The Celeb Report: “They liked us so much to get us to the final but then you’re bombarded with all this hatred. It was weird to come out and see all that abuse.

“Ultimately it ended up tearing us down.”
