LOVE Island star Jacques O’Neil has returned to his old rugby club – a year after quitting to go on the dating show.
The 23-year-old re-signed with Castleford Tigers today and will be making his debut again in May.

Speaking about going back to his team, Jacques said: “I just can’t wait to be back playing the sport I love again and being back around the ground with the boys.
“Hopefully, in the near future, I’ll be back playing competitive rugby again because it’s been what I’ve been thinking about doing since I came out of Love Island.
“I’ve always wanted to play rugby again; it’s never been the case that I didn’t want to come back to it. It’s what I’ve loved doing since I was a child.”
He went on to praise the club and the fans for supporting him during his troubled journey on the ITV2 show.
“The support from the Cas fans when I left the show was absolutely massive to me. When I came down to The Jungle for the first time and everyone was there supporting me, it meant so much,” he continued.
“I can’t thank them enough and hopefully I can get out on the field soon and repay them for that support that they’ve shown me.”
He was inundated with support after sharing the news, with Liam Reardon writing: “Go on son.”
Luca Bish commented: “Proud of you”, while Christ Hughes added: “Well done mate, head down now.”
Jacques played for the team for four years before doing Love Island last summer.
On the show last year, Jacques was paired up with paramedic Paige Thorne before walking out.
Things hit boiling point for the star when Paige, 24, had her head turned by villa veteran Adam Collard.
He told his co-stars he was leaving the villa after struggling with his mental health during his time on the show.
