Love Island stars reunite on New Year’s Eve – with just days until new series begins

LOVE Island stars reunited last night as they celebrated New Year’s Eve, with just days to go until the new series begins.

Winner of this year’s series, Ekin-Su, 28, celebrated with boyfriend Davide and they joined together with co-star Luca Bish.

The Turkish beauty uploaded clips to her social media while dancing with Luca and a blonde girl.

They spent the night in a packed bar and Ekin-Su filmed the DJ decks as the Islanders counted down to the New Year.

Ekin held up a bottle of booze as Luca put his arms around the actress as they danced.

She looked stunning in a baby blue dress with her brunette locks down.

Meanwhile, Islanders from the same series, Danica Taylor and Antigoni Buxton, also got together to celebrate.

The pair looked stunning as they partied the night away and enjoyed shots.

Antigoni let her curly locks down and sported a glittery gold top and skirt, and Danica looked beautiful in a yellow dress.

The girls headed out for sushi and drinks before dancing and making TikTok videos to celebrate the arrival of 2023.

Winter Love Island is about to get underway, and the singletons will be warned about unacceptable conduct towards others ahead of the new winter series kicking off.

Show producers are so keen to nip any concerning behaviour in the bud that Islanders will also be offered “resource links” to read through in the lead up.

This comes after fans of the 2022 summer series complained numerous times about “walking red flags” in the villa.

Viewers found Jacques O’Neill and Paige Thorne’s ill-fated romance particularly uncomfortable to watch, along with some conversations between Luca Bish and Gemma Owen.

Mental health expert Dr Matthew Gould, along with colleague Dr Paul Litchfield, independently reviews and updates the duty of care measures ITV has in place for Love Island contestants.

Dr Gould said: “The enhanced safeguards introduced for Love Island 2023 demonstrate ITV’s commitment to evolve Duty of Care protocols to minimise harm, where possible.”
