LOVE Island ended in a brutal twist tonight that saw one boy leaving the villa after a shock recoupling.
The two new bombshells were allowed to go first and Rosie Seabrook chose to partner with Casey O’Gorman, while Keanan Brand picked Claudia Fogarty.
Shaq, Tom and Martin were the final three boys standing in Love Island’s shock dumping
Martin, who was a huge hit with viewers, looked emotional
Each villa girl was then allowed to pick their partner, and it was finally up to Tanya to save either Shaq Muhammad or Martin Akinola.
Casa Amor boy Martin was eventually sent packing from the ITV2 show.
Tanya, 23, had the final say and chose Shaq after they reunited earlier in the episode.
Standing around the firepit, she said: “I love him so much.”
Martin said an emotional goodbye to his co-stars but not before getting a final word in about Tanya’s behaviour.
He said: “Honestly, it was a really good experience, I won’t say it was the best experience of my life because it wasn’t.
“I have a lot of love for you guys, even Tanya. You didn’t do anything wrong.”
He then backtracked and said: “Well, you did some things that were wrong, I’m not going to lie. But I have nothing against you.”
Moments earlier, Claudia had been left in tears when Rosie picked Casey to recouple with.
Rosie made her interest in Casey clear when she took him on a date and admitted to being keen to explore a connection.
As expected, Lana Jenkins chose to couple up with Financial Advisor, who she has been with since the first week.
Samie and Jessie recoupled with their respective partners, Tom Clare and Will Young, despite their daliances in Casa Amor.
While Sanam made the decision to couple with Kai Fagan after he brought her back from Casa Amor.
Tanya chose to dump Martin and recouple with Shaq after their brief split
Claudia Fogarty sobbed after Casey O’Gormon told her he wanted to get to know bombshell Rosie
