LOVE Island viewers all said the same thing after it was revealed that Gemma Owen’s ex is heading into the villa.
In a first look at Sunday night’s episode of the ITV2 show, the 19-year-old was left speechless when she saw her former lover walking into the villa.
At the end of tonight’s instalment, Paige Thorne, 24, and Afia Tonkmor, 25, were left single at the recoupling ceremony.
Paramedic Paige received a text saying that they were staying in the villa because one person had already left after Liam Llewellyn‘s shock departure.
A sneak peek at the next episode followed.
After showing hunk Jacques O’Neill’s face, Gemma could be heard saying: “Oh my god. That is my ex boyfriend.”
Many fans think that it’s a ploy to get Gemma to finally talk about her famous dad.

One wrote on Twitter: “It’ll be Gemma’s ex boyfriend. The pre-planned way for producers to have someone other than Gemma spill who her dad is.”
A second said: “Imagine if Gemma’s ex spills who her dad is.”
“Gemma’s dad is about to get revealed her ex is coming in to spill the beans,” a third added.
A fourth chimed in: “Maybe Gemma’s dad will finally be revealed seeing as her ex is making a grand entrance.”
It comes shortly after fans pointed out the same thing after Gemma revealed her relationship history.
The Team GB dressage star Gemma told how her last relationship came when she was in high school – which left some raising their eyebrows.
One mused: “Gemma was 16 when COVID started and her last relationship was when she was 17, she’s only had access to clubbing/ drinking alcohol for a YEAR someone pls get this girl out the villa

Another commented: “Gemma has been single for a year and a half making her last relationship when she was … 17 
#LoveIsland,” as a third pleaded: “When Gemma said her last relationship was a year and a half ago.. someone tell this girl high school relationships don’t count #loveisland.”
