LOVE Island viewers have slammed the boys on the show for giving Liam ‘false hope’ when it comes to Gemma.
The Welsh student was left gutted when Italian hunk Davide ‘stole’ Michael Owen’s daughter from him.
He was left unsure if he should continue trying to pursue Gemma, but the lads egged him saying he still has a chance.
Those watching at home weren’t impressed with their advice though and took to Twitter to discuss it.
One person wrote: “Does no one in this house care about Liam, why the false hope pls? #LoveIsland”
A second added: “BOYS WHY ARE YOU GIVING LIAM FALSE HOPE

While a third wrote: “Luca stop giving Liam false hope, it’s not healthy #loveisland.”
Love Island fans also felt that Gemma was leading Liam on as she told him ‘nothing had changed’.
As she pulled him for a chat, she said: “Me being in a couple with him hasn’t changed how I feel about you. I still want to chat to you. It’s still early days. But I can imagine it’s not a nice situation to be in.”
Clearly over the moon, a smitten Liam said: “You’re still at the top of my tree! I’ve got a good feeling about you. You are girlfriend material, the way you are and the way you carry yourself.”
But things could be set to change though as Liam has been picked to date new bombshells Afia Tonkmor, 25, AND Ekin-Su Culculoglu, 27.
Gemma appeared furious when the news was announced and Fans are now convinced she will try to win back Liam after realising he’s popular at home.
