When asked about how she was doing, Jess said, "It's been over a week now since we split, so I'm getting there. We shared a once in a lifetime experience together, so of course I'm sad." She posted a video of herself cuddling her dog, implying that her pet has been a source of comfort in the midst of the break-up.

A Swipe At Her Ex

Another follower asked Jess why they had split, to which she replied, "I really don't want to go into detail by doing a big statement, but we're just very different and behave differently and that's it." Her cryptic comment was clearly directed at Sammy, who had released a lengthy statement the day before.

Sammy's Statement

In his post, Sammy expressed his surprise at Jess publicly announcing their split without them having had a chance to speak in person. He had hoped for a face-to-face conversation to see if they could salvage their relationship, as he had seen a future with Jess.
