Back to the Classroom

Love Island winner Kai Fagan may have snagged the £50,000 cash prize and all the celebrity perks that come with it, but he's not letting fame get in the way of his passion for teaching. The former teacher expressed his desire to return to the classroom and complete his training, proving that his heart belongs to education.

Living in the Moment

On his Instagram story, Kai shared his thoughts on the teaching profession, acknowledging its impact and the lack of recognition it often receives. He stated, "Teaching is an unbelievably rewarding profession that doesn't always get the recognition it deserves for the impact it has." Despite his newfound celebrity status, Kai remains focused on his career goals, saying, "It's always been my intention to complete my ECT year, and I'm hoping this is something I can still do in the future."

A Dream Come True

Reflecting on his whirlwind experience on Love Island, Kai expressed gratitude for the opportunities he's had. He said, "This year has been a hectic year where I've experienced things I could only dream of, and I'm so grateful for it." However, when it comes to his future plans, Kai's heart is set on teaching and coaching kids. He added, "When I think of my future, I think of teaching and coaching kids."

A Love Island Journey

Kai rose to fame when he joined the cast of Love Island as an original member. During a segment on the show called Casa Amor, he met bombshell Sanam Harrinanan, and the couple quickly became fan favorites. Winning the ninth series with an impressive 44 percent of the overall vote, Kai's time on Love Island proved to be a life-changing experience.
