Reunion Sparks Speculation
Love Island winner Sammy Root has sparked romance rumours after reuniting with a fellow Love Islander for the second time in the space of a week. Sammy and Faye Winter had already sent rumours flying when they put on a cosy display and now speculation about the pair is continuing to heat up.
A Weekend of PDA
Sammy Root has sparked romance rumours with Faye Winter once again. The pair had been pictured getting cosy after Pride of Britain at the weekend. It comes just two weeks on from show winner Sammy's split from his co-star Jess Harding just two months after leaving the Majorcan villa.
Charity Event Reunion
Today, both Sammy and Faye attended the same charity event with Future Dreams House. Faye and Sammy both made their way to the event day for the cause at the same time but were not pictured together. Instead, they both posted separately about their visits to the London based offices. Sammy captioned his snap at the event: "An amazing day spent with an amazing charity, @futuredreamscharity thank you for having me."
Backstage Affection
22-year-old Sammy was pictured getting close to Faye backstage at the Pride of Britain Awards over the weekend. The duo looked happy to be in one another's company as Faye giggled beside him as they waited for a taxi. Sam managed to avoid Jess at the event following their sudden split before she fled to Dubai where she has been spotted enjoying a girls holiday alongside Geordie Shore star Abbie Holborn.
A Sudden Split
Sammy released a statement on social media confirming that he and Jess had gone their separate ways and was "blindsided" by the news. He told how the news of their break up was a "shock" adding: "To be totally clear – I at least wanted a face to face conversation to see if our relationship could be saved and felt this would be a respectful way forward. "We had the most incredible experience winning Love Island and I genuinely saw a future with Jess. I was committed and respectful to our relationship. Unfortunately things don't always work out the way you'd hoped."
Faye's Single Status
Faye has been single since she split from her co-star Teddy Soares earlier this year having been together since summer 2021.
