Love Island winners Kai and Sanam devastated after ‘losing’ £7,000 charity donation

LOVE Island winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan were left devastated after ‘losing’ their £7,000 charity donation.

Sanam, 24, recently put up the dress that she wore in the final on eBay in a bid to raise some money for those in need.

Sanam shared what was going on with the eBay selling

Sanam and Kai, also 24, were crowned winners of the second ever series of Love Island last month.

The social worker wowed at the final of the ITV2 dating show in an olive green gown.

Now one lucky fan can get their hands on it – and the money will go to children’s charity Barnardo’s.

But unfortunately something went wrong and they lost the bid, but now the auction is now live again and up for seven days.

Sanam explained on her Instagram story: “So sadly we’ve had a little issue with our listings today on eBay which meant they were taken off.

“The issue has now been resolved and the auctions are live again.

“We are very sad because the original bids have been removed meaning we need to start fresh.

“We were up to £7000 on each listing so this is devastating but we hope you can all share the next stories so we can get back to tht or higher if possible.

“EBay have contacted those who bidden on the items to inform them so should you wish to reinstate your bid you can.

“Like we said 100% of the funds made will be going to Barnardo’s charity!

“We actually love and appreciate every single person who put a bid in and shared the post.

“This means so much to us and of course will mean a lot more to the charity as well.”

At the moment the House of CB dress is bidding at £7,900.

The beauty recently revealed that she is banned from going back to her real job after going on the show.

Sanam who was previously a social worker, recently admitted she had no choice in her recent change of career.

She told Heat World: “”I can’t go into social work again, I don’t think I’ll be able to.

“But I’ve got a meeting about it this week with my social work manager because I want to be able to use this platform to help children locally.”

“[Kai and I] spoke about doing stuff afterwards. We can’t go directly into it but we can use our platforms to do something.”
