But the pair have sparked speculation they are still together by her arrival in Spain at the same time.
Nicole – who is a model – hinted she was following his journey when she shared a bikini snap recently and wrote: “I’ll be watching you
”
Alongside another bikini shot from her holiday, she wrote: “I don’t chase, I attract.”
And then last night, as viewers watched Danny make his move on the show, she captioned a snap: “Irreplaceable
”
Danny’s mum Sue is clearly still very close to her as she regularly comments on her pictures telling her how beautiful she is and Nicole often responds saying she loves her.
Still together?
The close connection has led to viewers questioning whether they are in fact still together.
One person wrote: “Danny pretending to like all these girls as if his girlfriend didn’t come with him on holiday 2 days ago… #LoveIsland”
Another added: “This Danny deffo made an agreement with his “ex girlfriend” . Shit keeps adding up. He’s only in it for the money. #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK.”
While another remarked: “Danny is a racist and has a girlfriend who’s flown out to majorca. #LoveIsland.”
On last night’s show Danny discussed his recent break up and said the relationship had been based on looks and it was only later they realised they didn’t get on that well.
Fans of the show were already concerned about Danny’s intentions after the person looking after his social media account shared a post that read: “Come on lad, bring that money home”.
But after fans picked up on the message it was promptly removed from his social media page.
Race row
It comes after Danny was forced to apologise after he became embroiled in a race row before even entering the villa.
The 25-year-old plumber had used the n-word in a historic social media post.
In a statement last night, he said: “I’d like to take the time to apologise to anyone that may have taken offence to my inappropriate remark. I never meant anything malicious by this comment at all.
“I am not a racist person and it’s unacceptable language and ignorant. I meant no offence and feel like I have really learnt from my mistakes and will never use that word again. I am a kind loving person and hopefully you get to see that in the show.”
Fans had been asking for Danny to be removed from the villa since spotting the offensive slur in a comment he made on Instagram in 2019.
The Celeb Report Online has contacted Love Island for comment.
