A source told us: “Demi has been friends with Miami for a while and he knows the Gale twins as well.
“They’ve really enjoyed spending time with each other recently, but are trying to keep things on the quiet.
“He’s super supportive and giving Demi something else to focus on at the moment.”
The reality star teased a new romance last week as she posted a picture of his legs – but kept his identity hidden.
Miami hasn’t been quite as shy and posted a video of Demi lying across his chest as they watched the first episode of Love Island the other night.
Demi, who is currently working with Tinder, can be seen resting her arm on him and laughing when she spots him filming her.
Miami is close friends with rapper Yungen and has worked alongside him on various projects.
Demi spent four weeks in the villa at the start of 2020, enjoying two romances, with builder Nas Majeed and Justin Bieber lookalike Luke Mabbott.
Demi has been single since her split from Luke last year, shortly after they left the show.
Her world was rocked earlier this year when she discovered she had thyroid cancer and underwent two operations to remove a golf ball sized tumour on her thyroid gland.
She was only diagnosed following months of delayed appointments due to the pandemic and after pushing doctors for further tests.
The experience has changed her outlook on life.
She told The Celeb Report: “Before, I was always getting dressed up to the nines to promote a brand. Now I am enjoying showing a more natural me on my Instagram.”
More than anything, she is grateful, adding: “When you’re my age you assume you will live until you’re 80. This has made me appreciate everything so much more.”
