Love Island’s Faye is fuming about Brad leaving because Lucinda is now her biggest rival says former champ Amber Gill

LOVE Island’s Faye is secretly fuming with Lucinda because she’s now “competition” after refusing to go home with Brad – says former champ Amber Gill.

Faye threatened to cause a huge row over Lucinda deciding to remain in the ITV2 show last night when she had the chance to leave with her partner Brad.

Brad told Lucinda to stay and to take the opportunities coming to her

In a shocking twist they were voted the least compatible pair by viewers and were told at least one of them had to be dumped.

Rather than support Lucinda continuing her Love Island journey, Faye exploded, after hearing Brad telling the group: “Lucinda should stay, she’ll get more opportunities.”

Throwing a wobbly, the 26-year-old – who is coupled up with Teddy Soares – sobbed: “I’m just so angry right now, you don’t come in here to find opportunities you come in here to find love …

“I just can’t do this, I can’t do fake (people)” as Kaz and Sharon comforted her.

Faye later pulled Lucinda for a chat, telling her: “I’ll be honest with you I can’t sit here and be fake with you, I didn’t really understand the decision …

“I hope that’s not the reason you’re in here. There’s just a lot of emotion going on and Brad in here was my best friend.”

Amber – who won the show in 2019 with Greg O’Shea – was keeping a close eye on developments and clearly didn’t believe Faye’s explanation for slamming Lucinda.

She tweeted alongside a laughing emoji: “Faye’s upset because now Lucinda is competition”

Some viewers disagreed with Amber, with one writing beneath her Twitter post: “Nahh she’s just speaking real facts.

“Lucinda doesn’t wanna leave for him because she wants the IG followers and brand sponsorships. Faye’s not into that fake sh**t”

However, others cheered the reality star as one said: “Lucinda is coming for Teddy or Teddy is coming for Lucinda lol”

Labourer BRad became the latest Islander to be dumped after he and 21-year-old Lucinda were faced with a savage twist.

He insisted that she stayed on the show rather than leave with him – but in his exit interview confessed he regretted saying that.

Brad explained: “On the night, it was one of them situations where, I didn’t want her to leave [with me]. The way we had a connection, it would be really nice to take what we had and continue it on the outside.

“I woke up this morning and I wish we had left together. I want to see where that could have went. Not being able to speak to Cind, or ask her where she’s at, I want to know how she’s woke up this morning.”

The hunk went on: “I’m kind of hoping she doesn’t find love in there, because maybe we can carry on from where we left off.”
