Love Island’s Faye Winter reveals she came close to quitting show and wanted her parents to rescue her

FAYE Winter has recalled she felt “so uncomfortable” she nearly quit Love Island before coming third with boyfriend Teddy Soares.

The 26-year-old Islander and Teddy, 26, made it to the final of the ITV2 show’s final last night and has spoken out about her rough time in the villa.

Faye Winter says she nearly walked out of Love Island

The lettings manager revealed that she nearly walked out early in the show.

She said she found the early days really tough when catching up with the show’s host Laura Whitmore.

Faye recalled: “I didn’t want to be here. I wanted to go home. I hated it.

“I wanted to go home. I wanted to ring my mum and dad and say, ‘Come and get me,’ but it worked out for the best.”

Faye, from Devon, certainly caused a stir this summer.

The star now has 646,000 people following her on Instagram.

During her time on the show, Faye didn’t have the easiest time throughout the series.

She argued with fellow islanders on a number of occasions.

Faye most recently snapped at Liberty after she voted for her and Teddy as the least compatible couple in the villa.

Trying to make amends, Liberty approached Faye in the kitchen in an episode last week.

Liberty said: “Hey babe,” but Faye greets her with a face like thunder.

She continued to tell her: “I don’t want you to feel like you can’t come round me or I can’t come round you.

“We can just be happy and get on with things.”

Faye, in no mood to be happy, told her: “I don’t think anyone has really taken on board how I feel for every single one of your OGs to have voted that your relationship isn’t compatible.

“I would rather now people don’t blow smoke up my a**e – it is what it is. I’m not going to sit around and pretend I’m OK with everything.

“We’re clearly not friends but it’s not from my perspective. It’s not from me. Unfortunately, maybe I was too nice.”
