LOVE Island’s Faye Winter was left heartbroken before entering the villa a she was forced to give up her beloved dog Flossie.
The 26-year-old opened up about being a volunteer for The Guide Dogs for the Blind association and taking in Flossie, who was eventually placed with a new visually-impaired owner.

Speaking in an emotional Instagram post the blonde – who coupled up with Liam Reardson on the ITV2 show last night – Faye revealed she took Flossie in last year before the first lockdown and he got her through some tough times.
She shared: “Flossie
– we knew this day was coming so how is it not any easier?
“I feel honoured to of been your boarder since the 10th of February 2020, the only thing I’m grateful to this pandemic for is giving me extra time with you by my side.
“You’ve been my angel, enjoying the best days with me and getting me through the worst, thank you for the adventures and being the only reason I’ve managed to smile every single day, I owe so much to you.
“You will forever have a special place in my heart, I’m proud beyond words – I’m praying this is not goodbye more of a see you soon
”
Faye continued: “Volunteering for The Guide Dogs for the past 4 years has truly been the most amazing experience, the people and most importantly the dogs are incredible!
“It’s been the biggest pleasure being apart of such a life changing charity, it’s helped me through personal situations and for that I will always be grateful, but for now it’s time for me to take a break as Flossie leaving has hit me extremely hard.”
Last night Faye picked new bombshell Liam to couple up with – leaving current partner Brad McClelland single.
Faye was so taken with Liam that she said wanted to MARRY the hunky new arrival.
She gushed to the girls after their date: “He is so fit. It was a good date. The chat was there. He’s so tall, he is so handsome.”
