GEMMA Owen has reunited with Luca Bish after opening up about the struggle of having a long distance relationship.
The pair met on this year’s series of Love Island, and have both talked about how hard it is living so far away from each other.
Gemma and Luca are in a long-distance relationship
The couple have reunited for a cosy night in
Gemma, 19, and Luca, 23, placed second on the ITV2 show, just behind Ekin-Su Culculoglu, 27, and Davide Sanclimenti, 27.
Since returning to the UK the couple have had to work around their distance, with Gemma based in Cheshire, and Luca living 246 miles down south in Brighton.
But last night Gem posted a sweet snap to show she was FINALLY back with her man.
Taking to Instagram Stories, she shared a pic of Luca playing pool at her family home.
The sassy reality star wrote on the snap: “Who won? Obviously me.”
Gemma has opened up about how hard she finds being away from Luca, after they fell for each other on Love Island in the summer.
But despite work commitments and living at opposite ends of the country, yesterday Gemma lifted the lid on how they’re making it work.
In her most recent post on her YouTube channel, she said: “It’s actually working fine.
“You know, we’re obviously still mad busy but we’re making time for each other and you know, whenever we can, he’s either up here or I’m down in Brighton.
“If we’re both working in London we’ll spend the night together so we’re just sort of making it work.
“He’s actually here now, we’re going to go and have some lunch later but everything is good in that department.”
Gemma and Luca definitely seem happy as they are because the beauty recently admitted she won’t be moving in with her man just yet.
She currently lives in her dad Michael’s £4million mansion and wants to stay there for the time being, insisting: “I am still young.”
Their co-stars Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page have already moved in together, but Gemma isn’t ready to make that move.
She explained to the MailOnline: “We don’t have any plans to move into together just yet, I’m a home girl, it’s where everything is, I’m family orientated and I’m still young.
“In the immediate future I’m happy with where I am, and the setup Luca and I have.”
The star continued: “We are everywhere right now, when I’m down in London working, we spend time with each other and when we have a free weekend, he’ll join me in Cheshire and be with the horses. We’re making it work around our busy schedules.”
NOT WORKING
My 20min drive takes 2 HOURS due to roadworks for a bike lane no one will use
But Luca previously explained he planned to move nearby, saying: “There is no middle ground – it’s Chester or nothing!”
“I’m happy to go wherever she wants me to go. I haven’t got too many commitments back home so it’s easier for me to move. Whatever makes us happy and whatever is right we’ll do. Hopefully if I move near her, in time we’ll get a place together.”
