Love Island’s Jess and Ella forced to apologise after hitting out at villa co-star amid bulling row

LOVE Island fans have hit out at Jess and Ella after their shock rant against Zachariah during last night’s drinking challenge.

Tensions were again at an all time high after as things got heated when the Islanders sat down to play a game of Never Have I Ever.

After a few awkward truths were revealed, the question then turned to cheating, as Zachariah confessed that he had cheated on his girlfriends in the past.

Clearly rattled by his shock admission, Jess shouted: “Once a cheat, always a cheat Zachariah.”

Zach tried to defend himself and explained that he just hadn’t found the right girl yet, but Ella said she was disgusted by his behaviour after being cheated on herself.

After the game, Molly chatted to the girls and told them that she didn’t want Zach to be judged on his past.

But this prompted Jess to stand firm, saying she wouldn’t trust a “cheater”.

An unhappy Molly fumed: “I don’t like that Jess said that to Zach.”

After reflecting on her harsh words, Ella decided to apologise to Zach, who accused her of “attacking” his character and said he didn’t want their comments to influence his blossoming romance with Molly.

Ella then apologised and said: “You didn’t deserve that, you didn’t need that… it wasn’t cool, it wasn’t called for, I want you to know that we’re not judging you.”

Jess also joined the conversation and said, she was in the wrong for reacting like that.

Zach then told them of Molly: “For the first time in years, I’ve met someone.”

They decided to put their issues behind them – but it wasn’t long before Mitchel got involved and accused Ella of trying to “stir the pot” between Molly and Zach.

He said: “It looked like you were trying to stir the pot for Mol and Zach.”

Ella slammed Mitchel for getting involved, while Tyrique grilled Mitch on his motives for sticking up for Zach.

Mitch simply confessed that he doesn’t like the way Ella acts in some situation, with Tyrique then shouting: “Don’t worry about how Ella moves, because it’s not you that has to deal with her.”

Some fans were not happy with Ella and Jess’ reaction and took to Twitter to complain.

One wrote: “Ella & Jess’ reaction to Zach’s honesty was annoying. My boy said he was young, relax.”

Another posted: “Why is Jess and Ella overreacting?!”

While a third said: “Let’s be kind now…Zach was just being honest.”

But other fans took offence against Mitch’s behaviour and were quick to call him out.

One commented: “Mitch is very weird because why does he have a problem with how Ella acted towards Zach about cheating when Jess was doing the most as well??”

This person echoed: “Molly and Zach manipulated Mitch into going after Ella for the comments last night, then Zach played humble when the girls apologised (also Ella was genuinely upset, Jess (who Mitch DIDNT go after) just jumped on the bandwagon lol).”

Another added: “Mitch, it was Jess who said the most to Zach about it “a leopard never changes its spots” etc, so why you going to Ella about it?”

It comes after fans bombarded Ofcom with complaints accusing contestants of bullying.

Some 155 viewers contacted the regulator after finding scenes last week involving Jessica and Molly difficult to watch.
