LOVE Island star Liberty Poole has been tipped for a six-figure pay day – despite not completing the show.
The former Nando’s waitress, 21, admirably quit the Mallorca villa with ex Jake Cornish after she tearfully called time on their relationship just three days before the final.
Liberty‘s decision – and her proclamation she found “self love” while in the ITV2 matchmaking series has been widely praised – with her premature departure hinting the prize money wasn’t the most important thing.
INSTA FAMOUS
Yet she will likely be quids in in any case as Metro reports the stunner is set to rake in up to £18,795.43 for every sponsored post on Instagram, as reported by digital agency 10 Yetis.
Lib recently topped 911,000 Instagram followers and overtook co-star Millie Court.
Stella Reilly, PR Expert and Account Manager at W, told the website the break up may have been beneficial for the star’s bank account, and said: “Splitting from Jake will benefit her post Love Island opportunities in my opinion.
“In previous years (e.g Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham), strong couples have had equal public support however, in recent weeks, the public have sided with Liberty and there’s been an outpouring of support for her as an individual compared to support for the “Jiberty” couple.
“This switch occurred following Casa Amor where many saw his actions and egging on other Islanders in couples, as tactical; if other strong couples went through a difficult time or even a break-up, it would increase his and Liberty’s chances of winning.”
She added: “While she might not win the show, she will come out of the experience with the backing of the public which will no doubt help her post-island opportunities for brand partnerships.
“In the recent episodes, Liberty has made a point of addressing her love of big heels and red lipstick saying to Jake that she won’t change for anyone so I think she will work with brands that will look to highlight these aspects.”
MUM MISERY
Meanwhile Brummie Liberty’s mum has told how she has been left “heartbroken” at how Jake appeared to have treated her daughter.
Speaking to The Mirror, Jo explained: “It was an emotional journey, and I’m grateful she’s with me.”
She continued: “I was really looking forward to meeting Jake. But from what I’ve seen, Liberty totally made the right decision.”
Yet for his part Jake has told how he “still loves” his ex despite their split.
