After their stint in the iconic villa, many Islanders go on to make huge amounts of money through social media and public appearances.

One in particular who looks like they’ll be getting a huge pay cheque is Luca Bish, who is currently coupled up with Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma, 19.

Digital marketing agency www.10yetis.co.uk have tracked the Instagram profiles of the current contestants and worked out who will end up earning the most money via social media.

According to the company, Luca – who has gained 20,000 per cent more followers since his time on Love Island – is one of the lucky stars who could end up bagging himself a huge pay cheque per post on Instagram.

They believe he can earn up to £52,000 each time.

His co-star Ekin-Su Culculoglu, 27, was already one of the richer Islanders thanks to her oft-mentioned career in Turkish soap operas.

But the star – “dubbed an actress and a liar” by her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti – could be set for an even bigger payday.

Ekin-Su last week became the first of Love Island‘s class of 2022 to pass a million followers on Instagram.

The achievement unlocks huge earnings potential on the platform, with brands certain to be clamouring for her endorsement.

According to digital marketing agency www.10yetis.co.uk a million followers can net you around £10,000 per promotion.

Ekin-Su could get up to £78,000 per Instagram post.

It’s a well-worn route. Molly-Mague Hague went from a YouTuber in 2019 to a sought-after celebrity worth an estimated £4.5million.

Dani Dyer is thought to have made £3.1million after bagging brands like InTheStyle and Surf.

And Maura Higgins – the Islander Ekin-Su is most often compared to – has an estimated £2.5million in the bank.
