Millie Court, the former winner of Love Island, had her followers scratching their heads after they noticed something peculiar in a photo she posted from a wild night out. The glamorous reality star was enjoying a girly night with friends in Wales when an optical illusion had some people mistakenly thinking it was her hen do.
An Illusion of Matrimony
In the snapshots Millie shared on Instagram, the 26-year-old was dressed all in white and appeared to be wearing a wedding veil. However, it turned out to be a mere optical illusion caused by a man standing behind her wearing a white t-shirt. Despite the explanation, the rumors started flying.
One person playfully teased Millie, commenting, "I thought you were wearing a bride's veil thing in that photo! Hen party!" Another agreed, saying, "I thought the exact same. Thought have I missed something here?"
Yet another follower noticed the white t-shirt behind Millie, which framed her hair and created the illusion of a veil. They wrote, "Anyone else notice the white t-shirt behind her framing her hair and looking like a veil for a second and giving that pic a whole other vibe?? Did a double take." And a fourth follower simply giggled, saying, "Thought u had a veil on in pic 3!"
Some fans even jokingly suggested that Millie was dropping hints that she wants to get married with the photo.
A Strong Relationship
Millie and her Love Island boyfriend, Liam Reardon, have been going strong despite a rocky patch where they briefly split up. Liam has since attributed the pressures that come with public exposure after Love Island as the reason behind their temporary separation.
However, the couple has managed to find their way back to each other. While there is no suggestion of an imminent proposal, they have already jetted off on nine holidays together this year alone.
