Love Island’s strongest couple on the rocks amid kissing row

LOVE Island’s strongest couple are on the rocks after a kissing challenged sparked a villa row.

It comes after the Winter series’ cast were told to rate their snogging talents in last night’s episode.

One villa girl came out on top – and it just so happened that she was one half of the show’s solid couples.

Tanya Manhenga, 23, was named the perfect kisser after all of the girls were told to lock lips with all the boys who were blindfolded.

But her victory was shortlived when Shaq exploded in rage during a chat back in the villa bedroom with the lads.

Outside, Olivia relayed his feelings to Tanya who appeared gobsmacked and told her his reaction had given her the dreaded “ick”.

Tonight the pair, who have told each other they are in love, will face off in the evening.

Catching up after the kissing game, Shaq tells Tanya how he’s feeling and said: “I get it’s a game but I felt like you thought winning the challenge was more important than respecting me.”

Tanya replies: “I just want to understand where this is coming from, because I don’t understand.

“You’re all mine and I’m all yours. I only want you, I don’t care about anyone else.

“I understand why you felt the way you did but it was not my intention to make you feel that way, I’m sorry for not understanding you earlier, I get it now.”

Realising his error, Shaq asks: “Are we on the same page?”

Tanya replies: “We are, I’m just stubborn… so it takes a minute.”

Elsewhere, The Celeb Report has exclusively revealed that two Islanders will be dumped from the villa.

Host Maya Jama arrived in the country from the UK yesterday to host the double dumping – which was decided by a public vote.

A source said: “Love Island dumped two contestants from the villa last night.

“It came as a shock to the cast and the scenes will leave fans on the edge of their seats.

Insiders said filming in South Africa went on until the early hours as the dumping played out.

“At first it was believed only one islander would be leaving but two went.

“The public vote is always hard as the islanders have no idea how they are being perceived in the outside world.

“It ended up being a long night and filming went on until the early hours.”

Viewers will watch the result of last night’s vote in the show this evening and the stars will be interview on Sunday’s spin-off show Aftersun.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
