CASA Amor bombshell Kaila has claimed that Love Island hunk Teddy secretly flirted with her behind Faye’s back – but the scenes were cut.
The 28-year-old blonde has insisted that she and Clarisse regularly flirted with Teddy in the second villa, but she believes bosses “had an agenda” as they didn’t want him and Faye to split.
Speaking in a new interview, Kaila claimed that while she was initially set on Tyler during the show’s famous twist, she soon turned her attention to Teddy.
She explained: “I spoke to all the guys, but it was Teddy that I liked the most and we spoke a lot! I had a lot of conversations with him, I mean they didn’t show it but I had a lot of conversations with him.”
Kaila added to the Daily Star that they would work out together, and he admitted to liking both her and Clarisse – but was constantly thinking about Faye back in the main villa.
She then quizzed him on “where his head was at” because they had an “obvious connection” – but Teddy was careful of what he said on camera as he was “scared” about how the public would perceive him.
Kaila fumed: “There was so much stuff going on there, so many conversations with guys and the fun stuff that we were doing, so to kind of find out that it wasn’t shown was very disappointing.”
Despite Kaila’s claim that producers didn’t want to split Faye and Teddy up, viewers accused show bosses of trying to do just that following the controversial postcard, which showed him kissing one of the other girls in a game.
This led to Faye coupling up with new boy Sam, leaving Teddy devastated when he returned to the villa single.
Later in the series, after they’d reunited, Faye saw red again when she watched a clip of him admitting to finding Clarisse attractive – with her subsequent outburst triggering over 25,000 Ofcom complaints – the most in the show’s history.
Distressing scenes saw Faye berate, mock, and scream at Teddy – and viewers were shocked when he took her back the next week.
They ended up finishing in third place in Monday night’s final after officially becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.
And Faye has since warned that she “can’t promise” that was her last shock outburst, explaining: “When we made up I said to him I can’t sit here and promise you that that won’t happen again because I can’t say that I won’t argue and I won’t shout.
“That’s not something that’s in me. I am a fiery person. Obviously, I know how to deal with things better now.”
She added: “I’m so fiery and Teddy is so cool. He is the coolest guy I know and I’m so fiery. He chills me out.”
Kaz and Tyler landed fourth place in the final, which was won by Millie and Liam – with Chloe and Toby runners up.
