Love Island’s Toby questions his decision to recouple with Mary as Abigail fumes ‘why would you throw me away?’

TONIGHT’S Love Island will see fickle Toby question his decision to re-couple with Mary, as original partner Abigail fumes: “Why would you throw me away?”

Last night’s instalment of the show ended on an epic cliff-hanger after showing just two of the six couples in the most tense re-coupling ceremony of the series.

The episode ended with Hugo and Chloe both deciding to end their friendship couple to pair off with a new Casa Amor bombshell, and Toby making his sheepish return to single Abi with Mary on his arm.

And the pair exchange tense words this evening, with the semi-pro footballer insisting he is “speechless” that she stayed loyal.

Pulling her for a chat, he says: “I’m speechless. I don’t even know what to say. I didn’t know where your head was at?”

Abi asks: “Do you like her?” to which Toby replies: “Yeah, but I like you as well.”

The beauty isn’t impressed with his response, retorting: “I’d rather you say you really like her because then it would be worth it.”

Speaking in the Beach Hut, Abi later rants: “How many lessons does one guy need, seriously? Why would you throw me away?”

Viewers were shocked earlier this week when Abi stayed loyal as she insisted she trusted Toby – despite the Casa Amor postcard showing him with another girl.

They had also only known each other for five days before he was whisked away to the second villa – and he’d savagely dumped ex Chloe for her after his head was turned.

Proving to have quite the track record, he first got with Chloe after ditching Kaz for her – and Mary is his fourth partner in four weeks.

Tonight’s Love Island will also see the rest of the boys return from Casa Amor as their partners learn whether or not they have been loyal.
