Alan Titchmarsh comforted Isla’s mum Rachel
When she was four months old, mum Rachel noticed Isla was twitching after a bath and took her hospital where she had a seizure.
The little girl was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome which is also known as catastrophic epilepsy.
Almost a year later, at 14 months, Isla had another severe seizure that left her brain damaged and unable to talk, walk or see.
Due to the severity of her condition, the family often has to stay home, which is why the garden will come in such use.
In the episode, her deserving family were given a complete garden makeover by the program, which Titchmarsh labelled a “paradise”.
At the reveal, Rachel became emotional at how it would improve her family’s lives.
“Oh god, it’s amazing!” she gasped.
“The kids are going to love that, it’s so cool.
The backyard was also decked out with a pizza oven, a new swing and play area and two water features.
Rachel’s emotional response prompted viewers to also admit they had become teary-eyed.
“Just beautiful, beloved caring Alan Titchmarsh giving a hug, superb,” one wrote on Twitter.
“B****y hell, #loveyourfamily has wrecked me this week!!! What a beautiful garden for a beautiful family,” another added.
“Aww Isla looks so happy, bless her,” a third said.
The heart warming moment comes after a kind plumber who went viral after fixing boilers for OAPs free, also got a makeover.
Love Your Garden also helped a family whose 32-year-old dad had been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s.
