Lucifer writer reveals final season includes ‘darkest episode ever written’ as bosses share plot clues

LUCIFER showrunner Joe Henderson has revealed the show’s final season includes the ‘darkest episode ever written’ as bosses share plot clues.

The writer spilled the beans as fans were teased with what could be in store for their favourite characters.

A forthcoming Lucifer episode has been described as the ‘darkest ever’

The revelation came as the Lucifer Writers Room Twitter account asked followers to ‘Guess the Writer’.

While viewers have been waiting for episodes of the final half of season five to drop, bosses have been trickling information about the sixth and final series starring Welsh actor Tom Ellis.

Fans had recently guessed the premiere episode of season six, Nothing Ever Changes Around Here was written by Mike Costa.

Now they wrote: “Ready for another round of GUESS THE WRITER? Episode 602 was written by a wonderful someone who has been part of the #Lucifer team since Season 1, but started WRITING scripts for the show a bit later… Who do you think it might be?”

After several incorrect suggestions, the writer was finally revealed as Jen Graham Imada – as well as the episode title – Buckets of Baggage.

“But how does a bucket hold baggage? And WHOSE baggage!,” they went on.

“This title needs more spoilers, @JenG1221.”

And Imada obliged by tweeting three emojis – a ninja, lipstick and frog – which simply left fans even more confused.

They were then given the opportunity to guess both the writer and title of the third episode.

The account posted: “IIIIIIIIIIIIIt’s time! Are you super sleuths ready to start guessing what the title is for 603? Here’s your clue: “Y**** *a*** *o *e. Good luck!”

Before revealing: “We tried to make this one difficult, but some of you must be an honorary “Detective” for guessing this title.

This is the darkest and yet also lightest episode of #Lucifer I've ever written. It is just plain WEIRD in all my favorite ways.

“It is just plain WEIRD in all my favorite ways.”
