LUCY Mecklenburgh praised fiancé Ryan Thomas while poking fun at his wardrobe malfunction as he put on a stellar performance on The Games.
The pregnant star is due to give birth to her second child with Ryan, who stormed to a “well deserved” second place on the ITV reality show.
Watching on proudly from home, Lucy told fans how hard Ryan worked on his training while also still doing “daddy duties.”
Sharing photos of Ryan cycling fast in the velodrome and then him underwater in a pool with his board shorts down exposing his bum, Lucy joked that his bum should be back at home.
“Extremely proud of @ryanthomas84 he really has put blood, sweat & tears in the past 12 weeks as well as daddy duties in the evenings & weekends, So no rest days!” Lucy captioned the Instagram post.

“Now get that 
home me & Romano miss you

Ryan was left red-faced this week on The Games after his shorts split and his bare bum was exposed again.

The actor’s Lycra shorts were ripped open after a gruelling ride inside the velodrome.
Ryan’s pregnant fiancée, Lucy Mecklenburgh, took a picture of her man’s backside after the event.
She cheekily wrote: “Here it is again.”
Lucy joked she was worried she’d go into labour while watching Ryan compete, but fortunately her waters remained intact.
Ryan’s exposé came just days after his rear popped out in the diving pit.
The ex Corrie star’s budgie smugglers were pulled down by the force of his dive, revealing more than he bargained for as he kicked back up to the surface.
Ryan recently confessed he may be forced to pull out of the show if Lucy does go into labour.
Appearing on This Morning via video link, he said: “If this little girl comes this week, I am out of the show.
“Fingers crossed I get to the end of it and I can finish it and complete it and then move on to the next chapter of our lives.”
This Morning host Rochelle Humes – who’s stepping in for Holly Willoughby while she presents The Games – revealed Ryan had been stealing Lucy’s bath salts to soothe his body after training.

She said: “How does this challenge compare because I actually replied to your story the other day and you’d stolen Lucy’s bath salts and wacked them in the bath and said, ‘This is really tough!'”
Ryan replied: “You’ve caught me out Rochelle, you’ve caught me out. I need your bath salts!”
