MAE Muller has broken her silence after a humiliating Eurovision defeat that saw the UK finish second from last.
Mae looked gutted last night as her song I Wrote A Song scored just 24 points once the jury and public votes were tallied together.

Only Germany scored less, with their act Lord of the Lost netting only 15 points to finish at the bottom of the scoreboard.
But Mae isn’t letting the defeat get her down.
In the early hours of Sunday morning (May 15), Mae, 25, took to twitter to share her thoughts with her fans.
“I just want to say thank u x I know I joke a lot but we really put our all into the last few months, not the result we hoped for but so proud of everyone & what we achieved on this journey,” she wrote.
She added: “Congrats to all the countries. I’ll never forget this journey and I love you all.”
Mae ended the host with a heart emoji.
The singer, who hails from London, then showed her followers she was OK by posting a smiley snap on instagram.
Mae captioned the picture, which showed her looking away from the camera with her chin on her hand smiling, with the words: “It’s camp x”
Saturday night’s song contestant came live from the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine.
26 countries performed during the show, which ran for more than four hours, competing for the trophy and chance to host next year’s Eurovision.
Mae was the final act to perform, but despite her favourable position, she lost out to Sweden’s Loreen who scooped the crown for a second time with a whopping 583 points.
Despite the result, fans have said how Mae should be ‘proud’ of her performance and representing the country – but branded the result a ‘fix’.
One said: “Massive fix for 50 years of ABBA next year.”
A second wrote: “Nahhhh fix. Finland was much better.”
A third penned: “Eurovision is a fix, shouldn’t be allowing contestants who have won it before to compete again, unfair on the up and comers who have no publicity yet.”
While a fourth commented: “What an absolute FIX! Mae be proud.”
The voting process for the Eurovision involves the viewers’ votes but also factors in each country’s jury vote to determine the overall winner.
