CELEBS Go Dating star Nikita Jasmine has signed up to her second reality show in the hope of finding love – but MAFS expert Mel Schilling has a “serious message” for the star ahead of the E4 show.
The Geordie star, who appeared on Channel 4’s Married at First Sight this year, was axed from the series after just one week following her explosive outbursts at other cast members including husband Ant Poole.
Despite causing waves on the revamped UK version, Nikita, 27, is now set to cause fireworks as she joins the famous dating agency.
And there is one expert who knows exactly what a little firecracker Nikita can be.
Aussie expert Mel, who was one of the relationship coaches the last series of MAFS, has some stern advice for the Newcastle babe.
Speaking about Nikita, Mel exclusively told The Celeb Report: “Think before you speak.
“Slow down, she has a heart of gold there is no doubt about it but a lot of her words and behaviour can be quite damaging.
“So my message to her in quite serious tone is to think before you speak.”
“Don’t just speak, think about your words and behaviour on other people.”
The tattooed beauty will reunite with MAFS and Celebs Go Dating love expert Paul C Brunson as she goes on numerous dates to find ‘The One’.
Mel admitted that Nikita has a real shot at finding love on the show, but needs to change her dating habits.
“I think she knows what she wants, I think her biggest challenge for her is to compromise and to be a little bit flexible in allowing someone in who doesn’t fit all of her boxes and just showing a little bit of openness to difference and be a little bit accepting of people,” the romance coach continued.
And when it comes to dating, Mel simply advised Nikita to just “think before you speak”.
The Australian star has been a huge hit with viewers after she made her MAFS debut in the UK earlier this year.
Fans will be thrilled to know that Mel will be returning next year.
Speaking about her experience on the show, she said: “Absolutely loved it and I cannot wait to get back.
“I am currently filming Aussie season nine right now but really looking forward to getting back to the UK.
“It was such a breath of fresh air to have a group of people, because the UK is so diverse and have a different perspectives of life and relationships and their accents still baffles me. I am still trying to get my head around it.”
I’LL BE BACK!
She added: “The format is very similar, we followed the Aussie format with the exciting things like the commitment ceremony, dinner parties and final vows.
“But I guess what makes it different is the culture of the people, you can apply the exact same methodology and you’re going to get such different outcomes because people in the UK have such different experience and cultural attitudes towards relationships – so it turns out very differently.”
Mel has teamed up with eharmony have created ten confidence boosting video mantras – hosted on Instagram – designed to give singles a better dating experience.
They shared research which shows that lack of confidence is a clear issue for those looking for love, with fear of rejection, physical appearance and feeling ‘out of practice’ among top concerns.
Meanwhile, six in 10 singles agree that first dates are more stressful than public speaking, a job interview or money worries.
The female stars joining Nikita on Celebs Go Dating are telly host Ulrika Jonsson, 54, Towie star Chloe Brockett, 20 and MAFS Australia’s Jessika Power.
Alongside them Five pop star Abz Love, 42, has signed up for the series, along with Made In Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire, 25, and Apprentice 2019 Ryan Mark Parsons, 21.
