Arthur Poremba, a contestant on Married at First Sight UK, has finally spoken out after being brutally dumped by his bride Laura Vaughan.
The Final Vowel Renewal
In the latest episode of MAFS UK, Laura ended her relationship with Arthur during their final vowel renewal ceremony.
Arthur Speaks Out
Now, Arthur has taken to Instagram to express his true feelings about Laura and the whole experience.
Arthur wrote, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. Thank you for what's probably going to be one of the best experiences of my humble life. This journey has taught me a few things. I've learnt that it's ok not to be ok, you don't always have to pretend that you're the strongest person alive, it's ok to be vulnerable at times and show your feelings and emotions when needed."
He also thanked the crew and cast members, particularly Laura, for putting up with him behind closed doors. Arthur admitted that there were many things he said and did that didn't make it onto the show's edit.
A Surprise Dumping
During Monday night's episode, Arthur was left visibly upset when Laura revealed that she no longer wanted to continue their relationship.
Laura told Arthur, "I know we've grown as individuals in this process, but the more I grow as a person, the more I grow apart from you. I've always been a fixer, but I've realized this relationship is something that can't be fixed. You helped me realize what I don't want, and I'm going to give you this [wedding ring] back, but thank you for making me realize who I am. You'll be perfect for someone, but it won't be me."
Arthur's Reaction
Arthur admitted that the brutal dumping made him feel awful and that he didn't see it coming.
It's clear that Arthur and Laura's journey on Married at First Sight UK has come to an end, and both are now moving on from the experience.
