MAFS Star Adam Nightingale Denies Arrest Rumors

Adam Nightingale sets the record straight

MAFS star Adam Nightingale has been forced to deny he was arrested over the weekend after he was spotted in the back of a police van. The barber, who married Polly on the show, was left bemused as a TikTok video went viral claiming a groom was arrested and carted away in the back of a van – and fans speculated it was him.

Setting the record straight

Adam was pretty surprised to see people online saying he had been arrested. But Adam, 33, has now revealed the truth about him being seen with police – revealing he simply posed for pictures with coppers who are fans of the show. He said: "The picture of me with the police was local police lady’s asking for a photo with me while I was at work."

Work, not arrest

A source close to Adam clarified the situation, stating: "Adam was pretty surprised to see people online saying he had been arrested. In reality, he was working at 63 barbers in Ilkeston getting into the Halloween spirit. The whole high street really gets into it and they had hundreds of kids coming in for sweets. Even the police got involved and a few female officers spotted him and asked for pictures."

Relationship drama on MAFS

Fans are still waiting to find out if Adam and Polly manage to stay together as the current series of MAFS gears up to finish. The newlyweds' relationship has been fraught with difficulties from the off, with Adam admitting Polly isn't his type. Despite their tumultuous relationship, fans think they could still be together after Polly wished her ‘hubs’ Happy Birthday online.
