Adrian has since revealed the one castmate he won’t be keeping in touch with after Married At First Sight‘s 2022 instalment wrapped.
Yet he has now told a surprising secret about his own time on the show.
Adrian confirmed to Celebrity Skin Talk Instagram Live host Scott McGlynn he applied for the series – yet actually wanted to be in the 2021 cohort.
He said: “I applied but I actually applied for the year before.

“Then they contacted me this year.
“I obviously wasn’t good enough for the last year!”
Yet, after finding lasting friendship with Tom, he added: “I’m glad I was in my cast.”
Addressing why he decided to go on the matchmaking experiment in the first place, he said: “I’ve never had that much luck in the old relationship department.
“My friend was watching it [MAFS] and it was lockdown, and we were all doing crazy things.
“And I was like ‘you know what, let’s just do it.'”
Previously we reported the Married At First Sight cohorts he certainly won’t be making an effort with.
Fans may not be surprised to learn that Matt Murray is top of the list of people the stylish star can take or leave.
Speaking to the same podcast, he added: “I feel like it’s obvious – it’s pretty obvious really who I wouldn’t really be mates with.
“Take Matt for instance – we are probably not going to be friends again.
“But saying that – you never know. Maybe he is my next husband!” before bursting into laughter.
